SID is the initial instigator of
Subt Lemon. Stephen Ireland Davison to his friends, SID actually was the first
to have the acronym title - JT being exactly one year younger has challenged for
the rights, but has remained frustrated at sometimes still being called simply,
James. And so it came about that when SID was living in France, the drums
weren't a viable option so he turned to a more portable instrument to pluck away
at. Five years later with a few song ideas up his sleeves he introduced them to
Dan while on a trip to Tunisia. Dan listened briefly and declared that everyone
was going to become very rich and promptly threw up with excitement. Or was it
vodka. A brief introduction to JT (involving a 7/11 Lemonal) and sure enough,
things are kicking off. |

Subt Lemonal rights were awarded
when SID's invention of the Carrot Hat was featured in The Times invention
column. he also cycled through a car window one evening which gave him an
insight into out-of-court settlements, something he's looking forward to dealing
with when they get ripped off by their manager.
SID's day job is being a Christmas
villain, stealing things and awarding himself massive salary increases.
